‘MY HOLY DAY’, says Jesus|YHWH of the Sabbath day
JESUS gave us 6 days to do
whatever we want as it
pleases us. However, Jesus
decrees for HIMSELF 1 day
of rest so we can
fellowship and hang out
with Him IN HOLINESS.
ISAIAH 58:13 AND LUKE 6:5
If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise
from the dead. Luke 16:31; Matthew 5:17-18
(16:19) Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, faring sumptuously every
day: (20) and a certain beggar named Lazarus was laid at his gate, full of sores, (21) and desiring to be fed with
the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table; yea, even the dogs came and licked his sores. (22) And it came to
pass, that the beggar died, and that he was carried away by the angels into Abraham's bosom: and the rich man
also died, and was buried. (23) And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off,
and Lazarus in his bosom. (24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,
that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame. (25) But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil
things: but now here he is comforted, and thou art in anguish. (26) And besides all this, between us and you
there is a great gulf fixed, that they that would pass from hence to you may not be able, and that none may cross
over from thence to us. (27) And he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my
father's house; (28) for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of
torment. (29) But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (30) And he said, Nay,
father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. (31) And he said unto him, If they hear not
Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead. Luke 16:19-31 ASV
CAN YOU HEAR THE ETERNAL VOICE OF
MOSES JESUS SPOKE OF IN LUKE 16:19-31?
(11) For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off.
(12) It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto
us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it? (13) Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest
say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?
(14) But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. (15)
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; (16) in that I command thee this day to
love Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his
ordinances, that thou mayest live and multiply, and that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in the land whither
thou goest in to possess it. (17) But if thy heart turn away, and thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away,
and worship other gods, and serve them; (18) I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish; ye
shall not prolong your days in the land, whither thou passest over the Jordan to go in to possess it. (19) I call
heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the
blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed; (20) to love
Jehovah thy God, to obey his voice, and to cleave unto him; for he is thy life, and the length of thy days; that
thou mayest dwell in the land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to
give them. Deuteronomy 30:11-20 ASV
